This is the BGG folder, a liner lock with an unlock button, done in 440C-equivalent stainless steel and layered green and black Micarta. It's a great handful of knife, shaped to work hard. That is, when normally gripped, the point is straight ahead and there is lots of cutting-edge belly just ahead of your index finger, which is nicely tucked away in the shape of the grip.
This is not a small knife --- the blade is four inches long and ground from .170" stock --- but it swings open quick and locks solid. It works for right or left hands, with thumb studs on both sides.
And it unlocks with a button --- no fumbling to get at the liner lock. And then there is the edge --- near full-height ground to a convex edge, the very best of edges, easily kept that way by stropping. All that and it is a very good-looking package, too, nicely packaged in a nylon pouch.
